Shuggie Otis - Inspiration Information (1974)
Shuggie Otis is that dude. That’s why I’m going to sit at my desk, stare off into space and listen to Sparkle City on repeat for about an hour. No, I’m serious. I don’t wanna hear shit from any of you motherfuckers until at least 3:07 CST.
Grace Jones - Island Life (1985)
Grace Jones is absolutely terrifying.

Prince - Camille (1986 - unreleased)
Before putting out Sign O’ The Times in 1987, Prince started and scrapped a few projects. One was Dream Factory, and the other was Camille. It was intended to be a side project done by Camille, one of Prince’s alter egos. In other words, Prince sped his voice up so it sounded different. In other other words, it’s fuckin’ awesome. Most of the songs ended up showing up on other albums, but...

*** Kazaam was one of the best books I have read., October 11, 1999 By A Customer This review is from: Kazaam: A Novelization (Paperback) I liked the book Kazaam it made me think of what I would do if I had a genie of my own. It was also very neat how almost all of the book took place at a club called the music box. If I had a genie I would have wished for something better than a master CD of...
I would like to own this.

Aimee Mann - Lost in Space (2002)
Don’t ask me where I acquired a copy of Aimee Mann’s Lost in Space. I sure as hell didn’t buy it. Especially considering it’s a special edition with a comic book inside. All I know is it’s dope. No, you shut up.

Dinosaur Jr. - Green Mind (1991)
I set “The Wagon” as my alarm clock for this morning. I’m pretty sure it played through three times before I actually woke up. Not even a reeling J. Mascis guitar solo could stir me from my slumber.
Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner...
Evil Genius music, y’all.
B.B. King - Indianola Mississippi Seeds (1970)
My favorite B.B. King album. Carole King co-wrote a bunch of the songs, so it’s got that going for it. Listen for when he has to play himself out of a hole after he misses a note at 3:39 in “Chains and Things.” They liked the take so much that they just made the orchestra go into a minor key for a few bars.
Matilda was pretty good.
That came from this place.
Keep on not making sense, guys.
I appreciate your efforts.
James Iha - Let it Come Down (1998)
For some reason, that other guy from the Smashing Pumpkins put out an album. It is a thing and it exists. It is every bit as good as you would expect it to be. So yes, it sucks.
Juvenile - 400 Degreez (1998)
Ladies and Gentlemen… I’d like to introduce to you a young fella… that goes by the name of… Juvie.
Sperm Flying Around Red Tweezers
I mean, come on.
Midnight Star - No Parking on the Dance Floor...
I go back and forth between thinking the 1980’s must have been terrible to being blown away by how amazing they were. Today I’m leaning toward amazing. Either way, I’m glad I was only alive for half of them.
yeah, that’re pretty great.
This is the Home Movies Soundtrack.
Right here. You’re welcome.
